How To Grant Ceterus Access To Paychex Flex v2

Before Beginning: Please provide your Ceterus contact with your Paychex company ID (an 8-digit number associated with your business). You can provide the ID by including it on a comment under the pending request. We will use this number to send you an invite.

These steps reflect our current understanding of the system at the time of publishing. Third-party platforms and workflows can change frequently. Please let us know if you have any trouble completing these steps.

1. Log-in to your Paychex Flex account at myapps.paychex.com.

● In the center of your dashboard, you will see a tile called “Tasks”. The request from Ceterus should appear here. Click on View All.

2. Next click on Approvals.

3. You should see a task called “Ceterus Accounting (formerly DEREK CARTER) Requests Access to Your Company”. Click on the arrow to the far right to open the task.

4. On the next screen, click on Approve and Assign Role in the top right hand corner.

5. Next click on “No Role Assigned” under Admin Role.

6. Select Reporting Admin, and click Save.

7. You’re done! Now, navigate back to the Ceterus homepage and leave a comment under the pending request confirming that you’ve completed this step, so that we can verify that your payroll reports are coming through correctly.
