Paychex Payroll Setup Instructions

  1. Identify the 8 digit Paychex company ID(s) for the account(s)
  2. Send the ID(s) to support@ceterus.com and wait for confirmation that Ceterus has requested access to the account(s)
  3. Log in to Paychex
  4. In the center of the dashboard, locate a tile called Tasks - the request from Ceterus should appear here
  5. Click on the user ceterus01
  6. In the toolbar that appears, click “No role assigned” in the Admin Role box
  7. On the next screen, select the role of Reporting Admin
  8. After saving, go back to the previous toolbar and save
  9. Submit a message to support@ceterus.com that this was completed, so Ceterus can verify access to the account
