Wells Fargo Set Up Instructions v2

To sync your transaction activity to Ceterus: You will complete connection request sent to your Ceterus account. This will allow us to pull in transaction data and statements.

Optionally you can create a Third Party log in that we can manage.

To grant us third party log in access to your Wells Fargo account:

Wells Fargo offers a third party access manager for most business accounts. Please use the contact information below to setup a login.

  1. Login to the applicable Wells Fargo account.

  2. Click the Welcome button in the top right corner.

  1. Click Manage Access then Sign on with 2-Step Verification

  2. Enable 2-Step Verification - either option will work 

  3. Click Use Account Access Manager

  4. Change the tab from Overview to Guest Users

  5. Click the blue Add New User button.

  6. Add the following contact information, for Ceterus:

  • First Name: [First Name of your Onboarding rep]

  • Last Name: [Last Name of your Onboarding rep]

  • Email Address: access@ceterus.com

  • Username: [see below]

  • Password: Ceterus123

  1. Insert information about yourself when creating this username. For example, if your last name is Johnson the username could be JohnsonCeterus. If your business name is Smith Enterprises the username could be SmithEntCeterus.

  2. Change access level on any applicable bank/credit card accounts from No Access to View Only.

  3. Once all of the above has been completed and saved, please complete both of the following steps:

  4. Required: Call Wells Fargo at 1-800-869-3557, and ask that they enable electronic statements for the Account Access Manager user. (This is disabled by default, but we need access to reconcile the accounts.)

  5. Return to Ceterus and provide us with the username and password you created.
